Types of Donations

Donations for the benefit of St. Francis de Sales Catholic School may be classified as one of the following:

Unrestricted – The donor places no restrictions on the donation. Your contributions will be directed to the greatest need.

Donor Restricted – These donations may be spent only for the purposes specified by the donor. The Peace Program and the Music Program are examples of this type of donation.

Endowment – Endowments provide long term stability by setting aside invested money and using the income from these investments for the operation of the school.

Contributions and gifts to St. Francis de Sales Catholic School can be made in several different forms: 

Methods of Giving

Cash Gifts- Many find this method the simplest form of giving.

Pledge Gifts- Others find that a pledge gift works best for them because their contributions can be made in several payments throughout the school year, allowing for an overall higher contribution.

Gifts of Securities- Some contributors like the tax advantages that gifts of appreciated securities provide.

Honor or Memorial Gift Opportunities- This type of special contribution allows for a loved one, a family member or even yourself to be memorialized.

Bequests- A beautiful way to remember St. Francis de Sales through your will and estate plans.

Gifts are deductible for Federal Income Taxes to the extent allowed by law.

St. Francis de Sales fiscal year begins July 1st and ends June 30th.
